01 / Michael's Story

Nebraska roots. Minnesota soil.

Born and raised in Nebraska, Michael Beran carried a lifelong appreciation for agriculture north to Minnesota. Beran Farm is now his hobby farm—a hands-on place to raise animals, grow a variety of crops, learn with every season, and enjoy the work along the way.

Farming for the joy of it.

Part work, part learning, and always an adventure—this is a hobby farm built one project, animal, and growing season at a time.

The Animals

Chickens in the yard, goats with plenty of personality, and cows grazing the pasture make the farm feel alive.

The Crops

A variety of crops keeps every season interesting—from preparing the ground to watching something new take root.

The Farmer

Owned and created by Michael Beran, with Nebraska values, Minnesota roots, and a genuine love for learning by doing.
